 At Graham Outdoor
Adventures, we have a minimum size requirement of 130" Pope & Young, or
mature bucks of 3 1/2 years or old. It is not uncommon for our 2 1/2
year old bucks to add 20 to 30 inches of new horn in one year. We plant
numerous food plots on the property and have commercial farm crops
nearby for optimum antler growth.It is essential to control the doe population in order to produce quality trophy bucks and to make sure the rut activity is plentiful during your hunt. We take an average of 1 1/2 does per buck killed, usually during the late winter season. We utilize trail cameras, summer scouting, and shed antler hunting to monitor the progress of our bucks on the farm. Usually by the time deer season starts, we have several nice deer patterned for our hunters to get a chance at harvesting.
